ParagonED Welcomes Texas ESA Program, Praises State Leadership for Expanding Family Choice
Frisco, Texas – September 1, 2025 – ParagonED, a private K–12 microschool based in Frisco, is celebrating the official launch of the Texas Education Savings Account (ESA) program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to give parents more control over their children’s education.
The ESA program, signed into law earlier this year, provides qualifying families with state-managed accounts that can be used for private school tuition, instructional materials, tutoring, and other approved learning resources.
“ParagonED was founded to prepare students not just for tests, but for life,” said Chase Eskelsen, Founder of ParagonED. “With the ESA program, more Texas families now have the ability to choose a school that aligns with their child’s needs and their family’s values. This is a tremendous step forward for educational freedom in our state.”
ParagonED also expressed appreciation for Governor Abbott, Comptroller Kelly Hancock, and legislative leaders whose commitment to expanding school choice made this milestone possible. The school commended the Comptroller’s office for its thoughtful work in developing the first phase of program guidelines, giving families a clearer path to participation.
Families interested in learning how ESA funds can support enrollment at ParagonED are encouraged to visit www.ParagonED.org or contact the school’s admissions team directly.
